Parents, grandparents, teachers, therapists, pediatricians, family lawyers and other professionals working with children frequently seek expert support and guidance to facilitate a child’s development.

This is particularly true when the family is experiencing a significant stressor or change, or when the child is experiencing developmental struggles. Aspiring Families and Dr. Azmaira H. Maker are dedicated to educate, support, and empower families and professionals in facilitating parents to be the best parents they can be, and in helping children thrive.

YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY

Share your and your child’s story, letter, and/or illustration.
We would love to hear from parents, grandparents, and children about your experiences of a family separation or divorce. If you or your child would like to share a story, a letter, tips or tools to guide others, or draw a picture about the separation/divorce, please submit it here. We request that the story, tips and tools, letter, or picture should be directly related to separation/divorce, and address coping, resilience, adaptation, feelings, thoughts, questions, stress, changes, transitions, parents, siblings, school, or friends. Our hope is that your story, tips and tools, letter, and pictures will help other families and children know that they are not alone, and will help them cope and adapt to this major life transition.
