Dr. Steidle is a licensed clinical psychologist and an EAGALA Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist. With twenty years of experience, Dr. Steidle’s expertise lies in traditional psychotherapy and EAGALA Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Steidle has expertise in multiple areas of mental health, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, spectrum disorders, loss, grief, ADHD, and eating disorders.
Dr. Steidle has extensive experience as a clinician, supervisor, and manager of clinical teams. Dr. Steidle has worked in residential treatment centers, community mental health, outpatient clinics, and equine therapy ranches for the past twenty years.
Dr. Steidle received her doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology and is one of the first psychologists to be trained and certified in the EAGALA model of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Dr. Steidle discusses comprehensive goals and immediate needs to develops an effective Equine Assisted Psychotherapy plan with the client, parents, and primary Aspiring Families clinician for optimal interventions and functioning for women, men, adolescents, and children.
After a free consultation phone call, Dr. Steidle meets with you at the ranch, which is 15 minutes East of Aspiring Families, Center for Mental Health. In conjunction with Dakota (Aspiring Families’ therapy horse), Dr. Steidle will walk you through a deeper understanding of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and the expectations, goals, and structure for the 50-60 minute sessions.
