Our Treatment Focus
Up to 15-20% women report feeling anxious, sad, depressed, panic, frustration, and hopeless during pregnancy. Mood disorders such as depression and anxiety that occur during pregnancy or within a year of delivery are now referred to as Perinatal Mood Disorders (PPMDs).
The Aspiring Families Team offers comprehensive treatment for the many physical and emotional changes occur for pregnant women and after giving birth. Many women, couples, and families are not prepared for the wide range of feelings mothers may have during pregnancy and after the birth of their baby. Every mother is different and may have a unique combination of feelings.
