Screen time has also become the primary source of information and entertainment for children.
Are children really thriving when their primary focus is achievement and performance? Is it healthy for us to be pushing our children to measure themselves primarily through wealth and educational status?
A colleague asked an important question: What is happiness and is it important to be happy? Although a range of sociocultural, spiritual, and religious definitions of happiness exist, I would like to turn to the rapidly growing field of Positive Psychology for some answers.
Parents with children who are going through a divorce often struggle with the details of schedules, plans, and choices, as they search for a system that will work best for their child/children.
Based on the statistics, we realize that many children in the U.S. experience divorce at least once, if not twice, in their lifetime.
